Testimonials for Stockport Plasterer John Oldham

Here's a collection of testimonials and comments from satisfied customers of Stockport Plasterer John Oldham.

Plastering Testimonial: Brookside, Buxworth

Replastering of walls to an old property in Brookside, Buxworth that had been poorly done by another Plasterer in recent times.

Finish was great, no need to do anything before putting the paint on!

We have an old property with thick solid stone walls and some ropey recent plastering. John knew how to deal with our walls, coping with the quirks such as no straight walls like it is everyday work to him. The finish was great, no need to do anything before putting the paint on, I usually expect to spend a day cleaning up and sorting out the imperfections most plasterers leave behind. Great job. Thanks!

Plastering Testimonial: Chapel-en-le-Frith

Plaster boarding and replastering of a dormer bedroon in a property in Chapel-en-le-Frith, High Peak, Derbyshire.

John carried out our plastering work to a very high standard!

John re-plastered our dormer bedroom last week. Thank you so much. We are very pleased with the result, the work of a true craftsman. John visited and gave us a detailed quote. He arrived punctually each day, worked extremely hard, and carried out the work efficiently and to a very high standard. He has a friendly personality, and is very easy to talk to. We will need to have more plastering work done in the new year and its great to know we have someone that we can rely on.

Plastering Testimonial: Chinley

Removal of an archway in a bathroom to make the opening back into a square, creating a little more light and room in a property in Whitehough, Chinley. Also dot and dab of an uneven wall in the pantry area and plaster skim to a flat smooth finish.

You are an honourable exception - and that is worth a lot!

Critical things (as appear to me) are: (a) the ability to do jobs large and small (b) to respond quickly to queries (c) to keep the client in the loop if and when delays occur and (d) to do a good job.

Our experience has been (a) people don't respond to a query and as client you don't know where you stand - as you know you are an honourable exception - and that is worth a lot. Tidiness and so on should be a 'for-granted' - but not always - again worth emphasizing.

Will readily recommend.

Plastering Testimonial: Marple Bridge

Plastering of walls and ceilings to two bathrooms after tiles have been removed, remove damaged plaster in utility room and make good in a Marple Bridge property:

The quality of John Oldham's plastering work is excellent!

Over the past few years John has undertaken a number of plastering jobs for us. The quality of his work is excellent and he takes great pride and care in his finish. We have always been really pleased with the results. He is honest and totally reliable, he has given us good advice and helped to improve our property over the past few years. John turns up when he says he will, is conscientious in his work and takes care to keep things tidy and clean. I would happily recommend him to others and will certainly be asking him to further work on our next house.
